Unlock PDF

Remove the password or printing and copying restrictions from a PDF you own. Enter the password once and download a copy that opens without it.

Your PDF

  • Password or restrictions

Works for PDFs that ask for a password to open, and for ones that only block printing or copying.

  • Every page kept

Each page is redrawn into a new PDF at the quality you choose, with live page-by-page progress.

  • Stays on your device

Your file and password never leave the browser. Nothing is uploaded or saved.

Remove a password from a PDF

Banks, universities and employers often send statements, results and salary slips as password-protected PDFs. Typing the password every time gets old — and some portals won't accept a locked file. This tool opens the PDF with the password you enter and saves a copy that opens without one.

How to unlock a PDF

  1. Choose or drop your PDF. The tool checks whether it needs a password or only has restrictions.
  2. Enter the password if asked, and pick Standard or High quality.
  3. Tap Unlock PDF. Pages are processed one by one and the unlocked copy downloads automatically.

What to expect

  • Image-based copy:every page is saved as a picture, so text can't be selected or searched and links and form fields stop working. The original stays untouched — keep it.
  • File size: the unlocked copy is usually bigger than the original, especially at High quality (220 DPI). Standard (150 DPI) is fine for reading and most printing.
  • You need the password:this tool doesn't guess or crack passwords. If you've forgotten it, ask whoever sent the file.

Only unlock PDFs you own or have permission to use. Removing protection from someone else's document may break copyright or privacy rules.

Private by design. Everything runs in your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded or stored by AISeekho.
