Compress PDF

Shrink a PDF by tidying up its internal structure — no blurry pages, no quality loss. You'll see the before and after size before you download.

Your PDF

  • Lossless

Text, images and fonts stay exactly as they were. Only the way the file is stored changes.

  • Honest results

See the original and optimised size side by side. If it can't get smaller, we tell you.

  • Stays on your device

Compression runs in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded.

How this PDF compressor works

Many PDFs carry dead weight: leftover data from earlier edits and objects stored loosely instead of packed together. This tool rewrites the file in a compact form — packing objects into compressed streams and dropping data that earlier edits replaced — then shows you exactly how much it saved.

How to compress a PDF

  1. Drop your PDF into the box above, or tap it to choose a file.
  2. Wait a moment while it's optimised — you'll see the original and new size.
  3. If it got smaller, tap Download compressed PDF.

What to expect

  • PDFs that were edited and re-saved many times, or made by older software, usually shrink the most.
  • Scans and photo-heavy PDFsusually won't get much smaller: their size is in the images, and this tool doesn't re-compress images (that would reduce quality).
  • Password-protected or restricted PDFscan't be optimised here.

Private by design. Everything runs in your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded or stored by AISeekho.
