  • List only pages you want in search results — no redirects, 404s or noindex pages.
  • Use full https:// URLs from a single domain.

Free XML sitemap generator

An XML sitemap is a list of the pages on your website that you want search engines to find. It helps Google and Bing discover new and updated pages faster — especially on new sites with few backlinks, or large sites with deep pages.

How to use it

  1. Paste your page URLs (one per line) and press Add URLs.
  2. Choose the change frequency and priority, and set the last-modified date if you want to include it.
  3. Download sitemap.xml and upload it to the root of your site, so it opens at https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml.
  4. Add Sitemap: https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml to your robots.txt (the Robots.txt Generator can do this).
  5. Submit the sitemap URL in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.

Good to know

  • Only list pages that return 200 and that you want indexed — skip redirects, error pages and noindex pages.
  • Google uses lastmod when it's accurate, but ignores priority and changefreq. They're still part of the standard and other search engines may read them.
  • WordPress, Shopify and most site builders create a sitemap automatically — this tool is ideal for hand-built, static and custom sites.
