How to make an invoice

1. Add your details — your name or business, contact details and, optionally, your logo.
2. Add your client — their name, email and address.
3. List your work — one line per service or product, with quantity and rate. Amounts and the subtotal are calculated for you.
4. Add tax, discount and payments— the discount comes off the subtotal first, tax is charged on the discounted amount, and any advance you've received is shown as paid with the balance due.
5. Add payment details — bank name, account title and IBAN, or your JazzCash / Easypaisa number.
6. Download PDF— a print window opens; choose “Save as PDF” as the printer.

What should an invoice include?

• A unique invoice number and the issue and due dates
• Your details and your client's details
• Each item or service with quantity, rate and amount
• Subtotal, tax, discount and the final total in one clear currency
• How to pay you, and any payment terms

Tips for freelancers

Keep invoice numbers sequential (INV-0001, INV-0002…) — “Start new invoice” does this for you. For international clients, invoice in their currency and include your IBAN so bank transfers arrive without delays. Your draft is stored only in this browser, so download the PDF before clearing your browser data.
